BA NEEDS YOU

(and so does BA Insider Mag)

The magazine’s role hasn’t changed much over these many years, though its form has – and will yet. So, BA Insider Magazine is developing its internet presence and seeks webitors for the following digital channels:

EAT! All things food: eating out & in (ingredients, recipes…)
SIP! Drinking from maté to martinis
BUY! Shopping, purchasing power
GO! Travel near & far
SEE! Visual & performing arts, cultural events, spectator sports, etc.
DO! Activities from athletics to Zen classes
BE! Existential essentials: career, education, identity, spirituality, self-improvement, etc.
AID! Charity & volunteer opportunities
APE! Tourist no longer: understand, act like Porteños
OJO! Crime, scams and other cautions
OUT! BA nightlife
ASK! …an Insider: all-around advice & answers
USE! Services: financial, health, etc.
PEN! Groups, classes, opportunities & other resources for writers
WOO! Dating, romance & coupling

While there will be some overlap between the above channels, joint-productions, differing takes and generally healthy ‘coopetition’ will benefit readers.

Requirements & Responsibilities
Create and monitor a relevant blog roll
Link to and write summaries of groups, content providers and other resources
Seek and include old and new articles, posts and other content
Invite, attract and mentor permanent and guest contributors
Create useful and witty original content
Eventually take part in BA insider’s multimedia magazine
Dedicate 5-20 hours/week to channel
Have at least a medium-term commitment to the city.
Be empathetic editors: find and produce content useful for foreigners living in BA

We also seek editors for Barrio Beats, Events, photos, videos, as well as contributors for those and the above channels.
