The work of Julie de Grandy climbs onto the stage during the entire month of April at theTeatro de la Fundación UOCRA
Stella Maris Closas and Cristina Weaver are onstage at the Chamber Theatre Hugo del Carril dela UOCRA Foundation during the entire month of April. Ernesto Medela directs the play, and the script is by multifaceted Cuban Julie Grandy. The play is three separate scenes linked thematically, three different wives in three different eras, each encountering their husbands’ lovers. Two actresses, Stella Maris Closas and Cristina Weaver, play all the parts. Closas and Weaver flex their acting muscles and prove to be artistically athletic. CULTURE — BY DIEGOMALINGO
In North America, New Year´s Eve is often about finding a killer party or a special unique event. In Buenos Aires, there is some of the best nightlife on the planet….and most people would expect nothing less than a world-class New Year´s Eve, on par with those of Rio de Janeiro or New York City.
Unfortunately, this is not the case in Buenos Aires. New Years takes place during some of the hottest possible weather in Buenos Aires, and if you´ve ever experienced …
