Antonio Machado is one of the most descriptive and talented writers ever. If you are able, read a book by him in Spanish–if not, read a translation. Do, in any event, pick up one of his books.
Here is an exmple of one of his poems, a translation by Stephen Page:

A long roadway stretches
between craggy gray rocks,
and some humble prairie

Last night at Lola Theatre, Irma Roy was awarded an Alberto Olmedo Award for her films and TV work. In attendance with here was her daughter, Carolina Palpaleo.

Mi Familia es un Dibujo (My Family is a Cartoon) reruns are back on Channel Telefe (channel 11 on Cablevisión, and channel 123 on DirecTV).  The show is fun to watch.  It as a situation comedy with a little drama thrown in.  The basic plot-line is such:
An Argentine middle-class married couple has four children they are raising.  Two of the kids are teenagers that are going through the trials of adolescence—young love, rock-n-roll, fitting in with their peers, discovering the meaning of “responsibility.” A third child is an 8-rear-old girl who …
