The narrator in Marian Davies’s Poems from My Therapy is a patient going through psychotherapy. The reader is a silent witness as the narrator reveals her past and present to the therapist.
Marian Davies writes well in that the reader feels the narrator’s anger and frustration. The reader understands why the narrator wants therapy, and how the narrator comes to an epiphany that changes her life.
